Well, with the so-called "Oil Hubs" of the world under US control (apparently they are) one would imagine the world to be a much better place to live in.. But the present day scenario depicts something markedly different..
This is because 45% of the gas prices are influenced by taxes levied by various organizations in the process of trading... the second reason is because for the declining dollar which has declined by over 40% in the last 6 years.. As a result the soaring oil prices...
To top it all the real fun happens in the "Post elections-results declaration time". Simply cozz thats the time when the people ( specially the urban middle class) find themselves subjected to rising prices... Mainly because during this period the government decides to hike the fuel prices. Result- High transportation costs for goods and the Price Hike.. But as SRK says "Pikture abhi baki hain mere dost", the real icing on the cake comes after this, when the TV channels start there "rational analysis" reflecting the angst of the common masses.. Sense giving way to Non-sense. And of course "Politics" sitting squarely in the middle of every debate as usual...
Well the famous Jay Leno once said- " One day the Gas stations will say- We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.." When you walk out they'll say "Thank you for 'your' Visa, MasterCard and American Express....
